Icelandic Adventures.

Cultural association “7milamiglialontano” promotes adventure and sustainable travel in order to create global awareness of the problems of pollution in the sea, along the coasts and in the rivers.
Kappa supported the biker Giacomo Tognoli on his dream trip along the Icelandic coastline.
First impressions of Iceland. Though the sea was calm, the crossing was marked by constant rain… And Icelandās weather forecast didnāt leave much hope! As a matter of fact we had to wear our rain gear as soon as we got on the ferry … From when we disembarked at Seydisfjordur, and for almost two hours, all we saw were low-hanging clouds and pouring rain. We could only imagine the places we were riding through.
A must on our journey was a visit to The Shark Museum, located on a farm where the main product, shark meat, has been treated to eliminate any toxins
and then dried. The shark meat dish known as āhĆ”karlā is an Icelandic tradition. The meat used comes from the Greenland shark, which is caught alongside other types of fish.
Kappa Journal is a magazine about travel, motorcycle passion, lifestyle and everything that make us ride everyday and can’t be described by words.
